Nestled for over a century in the picturesque farming community on the outskirts of Montgomery, Grace Church now stands in the center of the eastern sprawl of the city, surrounded by neighborhoods and shopping centers and easily accessible by Interstate Highway 85. The church buildings and gardens, however, reflect the paradox of a country church in the middle of town. The land surrounding the church property remains partly undeveloped, and our newly-constructed Parish House was designed to complement the original worship space built in the early nineteenth century. The personality of our parish is best reflected in our living as the Body of Christ, faithful to our Baptismal Covenant to “seek and serve Christ in all persons and respect the dignity of every human being.” And, echoing the Prayer Book’s affirmation, we seek to do so “with God’s help.” We invite you to join us as together we become the Body of Christ, with many different gifts and talents, each of us unique and made in God’s image and for God’s delight. Join us as we worship God, study Holy Scripture, and engage each other in loving fellowship in Jesus’ name, to become equipped to respond to Jesus’ Great Commission to take the Good News of God’s love for the world into the world. We welcome all who seek a deeper understanding of God and fellowship with other seekers and believers. Contact Information
